Bubblgum Crisis Hardsuits

These are the hardsuits I made for our finals costumes for WCS

It was so much fun to finally wear these costumes after working on them for sooo long. OTL''' It was also very rewarding to wear them in front of a Japanese audience. WCS was sooooo much fun, it was definitely one of the best experiences of my life. Even if we didn't win the comp, I don't care! The whole trip & journey itself was the most fun I've ever had in my life. XDDDD Words cannot truely express how amazing it was to meet & hang out with all the amazing people there from all over the globe.
& to be the first ever Australian's to go & to be there with my best friend truely made it an experience to cherish forever! LOVE & PEACE FOREVER!!! <3 <3 <3

WCS FTW!!!


The costumes were made over a period of about 8-10months, so much pain went into these costumes, especially considering I had to make two of them. OTL'''
Considering what I went through to get these done I'm very proud of the way they turned out. ^^
They photograph a lot better than I could've imagined & turned out a lot more flattering than I could've imagined. XD
They also have LEDs all over them to keep with the lights in the anime.

They're made from a combination of mainly foam & fabric.

I'll post more details about the construction in future posts, as I will certainly be spamming these costumes. XD
