Hurray I'm alive!!! I think???

In the middle of moving house & new full time job, so praying I'll have internet at the new place. XD Just thought I should probably update after nationals.

We won 2nd Place in the Madman Nationals.
YAY KENNY WE PLACED!!! XDDDDD

Even after wing/costume/backdrop malfuntions we were very shocked indeed DX


And honestly I couldn't be happier as one of my best friends came first: Who cosplayed as Siegfried from Soul Caliber IV

Also in all her epicness came 3rd in the comp.

Totally reconfirming that Sydney Reigns Supreme!!! *joke* XD Although theoretically Will was a Queensland Wildcard even though he's from Sydney. THAT TRAITOR!!! XDDD


Everyone in the finals looked so AMAZING!!! The standard AMAZING!!! The skits AMAZING!!! All of it Absolutely AMAZING!!!!!

The whole day was stressful, but still looked back upon with fond memories. ^////^

The costume itself was definitely a huge challenge, I still need to do a photoshoot, as i have no photos with my wings out, or of my other costume LOL

So hopefully depending on weather I'll get that done over the x-mas period or just after.


The costume itself was a big challenge, this is probably my most complicated light up costume to date. That's the one thing I loved about cosplaying CLOVER is it's a good excuse for LIGHTS!!! Woot!!! There were so many little battery packs hidden around my whole costume it was crazy. XD
It was my first time working with & setting up my own EL panel for the chest piece. That dastard Zapped me soo many times even with me bugging my dad to help, but I was so happy with the end result.

DAD: Here hold these two wires in place whilst I test that it works.
ME: Ah okay, it won't zap me right?
DAD: Nah it should be fine. *flips switch*
ME: *gets full 8 battery jolt* AHHHHHHH!!!!!!!
DAD: Oops...
ME: X___X"

This costume made me look fat as hell, but I'm soooo happy I was able to cosplay CLOVER again & finally do it justice, especially compared to my terrible 2006 attempt XD
